A native of Hubbard, a small town in Northeastern, Ohio, Ken Modak moved to Georgia to further develop his art skills. He earned his Associate of Arts degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta, in 1986. Ken worked for several years with a commercial art studio in Atlanta, concentrating on airbrush illustrations for various national corporations, as well as work in water color and colored pencil.

Ken Modak is an artist whose ability to capture the likeness of individuals is exceptional. Many individuals and sports organizations have sought out Modak's art talent. Working primarily in a color pencil technique, Ken feels this medium allows him to best capture the feeling and detail he looks for in his photo-realistic style. Ken's knowledge of airbrush offers a perfect complement to his pencil technique.

Ken is the son of Dan and Helen Modak and the youngest of eight children. He is married to the lovely Lillian Jacumin of North Carolina and they have two adorable children - Marielle and Thomas.
